Makarra Bushproducts cc - About Us

We are currently employing 150 staff, most of whom are women. The jobs we provide are their livelihood and enable them to live self-determined lives.

We actively support Namibian charcoal producers (farmers) by buying all our raw material (charcoal) exclusively from them. The charcoal is then processed (sifted, packaged, briquettes are produced and prepared for dispatch) in our facility near Otjiwarongo in Namibia. Currently, we pack approximately 900 tons of charcoal per month, with trends pointing upward.

We aim to work with local producers as this creates jobs on farms and in our company. These jobs contribute to the fight against unemployment. Our employees help us to produce a competitive, quality product for the consumer.

The largest part of our charcoal and briquettes is exported overseas, mainly to Europe but also to countries in other continents. Our customers are various wholesalers and distributors.

For enquiries, contact our office team or the owners/founders Wolfhart Diekmann und Micha von Hacht between 7:00 - 13:00 and 14:00 - 17:00.
