We are currently employing 45 staff, most of whom are women. The jobs we provide are their livelihood and enable them to live self-determined lives.
We actively support Namibian charcoal producers (farmers) by buying all our raw material (charcoal) exclusively from them. The charcoal is then processed (sifted, packaged, briquettes are produced and prepared for dispatch) in our facility near Otjiwarongo in Namibia. Currently, we pack approximately 500 tons of charcoal per month, with trends pointing upward.
We aim to work with local producers as this creates jobs on farms and in our company. These jobs contribute to the fight against unemployment. Our employees help us to produce a competitive, quality product for the consumer.
The largest part of our charcoal and briquettes is exported overseas, mainly to Europe but also to countries in other continents. Our customers are various wholesalers and distributors.
